In response to my earlier letter, our organisation has received a large number
of letters requesting North East Coordination Centre (NECC) to reduce the registration
fee of
Rs. 10,000 per annum.
The matter has been discussed in great detail at the Media Management Group for
Literacy and Development and it has been decided to reduce the joining fee to
Rs. 5,000 only. Consequently it has been decided to maintain a skeleton staff
and minimum infrastructure, so that the activities of the centre can somehow
be sustained.
If you are interested to join the North East Coordination Centre, kindly send
Rs. 5,000 by demand draft payable at Delhi by 20th December, 2003. Since the
NECC is viable only when a large number of NGOs join, I would request you to
pass
on the information to other NGOs in your area who may like to join in.
