WORK PROFILE

8. Training (NGO) Workshop (Mizoram State) (4-5 Feb, 2003):

Commissioned by the Department of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, 35 Non Governmental organizations of the State were trained in project development strategies and proposal writing skills.

9. Research Project, Indian Council of Social Science Research (2002):

Field research project on education and lack of income generation in youth in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim. This project is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. The project involves collection of primary data from field areas of the eight states of the north eastern region, data interpretation and analysis and recommendations in the form of a final report. The sample size of the project is 4800.


10. Training (NGO) Workshop (Arunachal Pradesh State) (16-17 Dec, 2002):

Commissioned by the Department of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, 30 Non Governmental organizations of the State were trained in project development strategies and proposal writing skills.

11. Training (NGO) Workshop (Meghalaya State) (5-7 Dec, 2002):

Commissioned by the Department of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, 25 Non Governmental organizations of the State were trained in project development strategies and proposal writing skills.


12. Training (NGO) Workshop (Assam State) (2-4 Dec, 2002):

Commissioned by the Department of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, 170 Non Governmental Organizations of the State were trained in project development strategies and proposal writing skills.

Registration: Media Management Group for Literacy and Development is registered as per Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, India on January 27, 2000. The registration number of the organization is 36434.

Income Tax exemptions: All contributions to the organization has been exempted from Income Tax as per order under Section 80G (5)(VI) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, Government of India.

Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN): Media Management Group for Literacy and Development has been allotted the Tax Deduction Account Number (TAN). The TAN number is DELM10197F .

Foreign Currency Regulation Act (FCRA) Registration: The organization has been accorded the permission of the Government of India under Section 6 (1A) of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 (FCRA).
